![]() ![]() My guess is that there was some artifact from the previous connections that stuck in the earbuds’ onboard memory which stopped the reset from happening. The important part here was that all devices had were unpaired as well as having bluetooth turned off altogether. That worked and I was able to reconnect everything. When I was sure both buds were seated properly I turned off bluetooth on all the devices they had connected to previously (all the devices within range) and only then was I able to get the buds into pairing mode by holding the button on the case. In theory, if you put both in the case then the two outside lights should show. when you put the buds back in the case you should see the light on the side where it sits come on for a couple of seconds signaling a charge. I unpaired the earbuds from all my devices and couldn’t get the buds to go back into pairing mode though oddly they did show up as an available device on everything (this is important, I’ll come back to this)Īfter reading the first answer in this thread my theory was that one of the buds got out of sync, most likely because it died first or just hadn’t recharged. I had the same problem and for the life of me couldn’t figure out what was going on all day. I understand that unlike a normal pair of head phones connected by wire, they need some other means of communicating, but this should have been a background process, not something end users could mistakenly mess up. I have never had so many problems with a pair of head phones before. Wasted my entire lunch break trying to fix this to no avail. Thanks, guys.Ĭurrent problem: They will no longer enter pairing mode when removed from the case. Batteries last for 9 hours, so I left the case at home. This resets the ear buds so they pair to each other. Solution: Place in case and press button for 3 seconds (until lights turn red and blink. Most devices will only allow one bluetooth audio device, so I basically got to pick which ear I wanted to be deaf in. Problem one: suddenly they decided to pair only one ear bud at a time. I’d always wanted to try ear buds without any kind of head wrap or cord, so I bought the SoundCore Life Note ear buds and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend these things to my worst enemy. ![]()
